Minister Ze'ev Elkin, accompanying Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, signed agreements with Azerbaijan on Tuesday to expand economic ties between the two countries.
Elkin said, "This is an historic visit of the Israeli prime minister in a moderate Muslim country friendly to Israel like Azerbaijan. There is no doubt that this is a significant upgrade in the relations between the two countries."
