Rabbi Yuval Sherlo, head of the ethics department for the Tzohar rabbinical organization and Chairman of the ethics committee for the organ transplant center of the health ministry related this afternoon to the decision of the family of the boy Ilai Nir z"l to donate Ilai's organs.
"It's hard to find an act that is more noble, humane, ethical, and halachic on the part of the family upon the death of a loved one, than to think of granting life to others," Rabbi Sherlo said.
