Former president Moshe Katzav reportedly told the parole board, Sunday, that he knew the women he was convicted of harming went through hard times.

Katzav did not admit committing any of the crimes he is convicted of and did not express remorse. Referring to the number of appearances Katzav has made before the parole board, Meretz Knesset members Michal Rozin and Tamar Sandberg said, "On the third time, Katzav apparently understood what he had to say. The parole board must not be impressed by the spin."
