On Monday, President Reuven Rivlin will receive the diplomatic credentials of newly-appointed ambassadors to Israel from France, Canada, Guatemala, Turkey, and Cambodia in a ceremony at the President’s Residence in Jerusalem.
The ceremony for new Turkish ambassador Mekin Mustafa Kemal Okem will mark completion of the reconciliation agreement between Israel and Turkey, following the split that started with the Mavi Marmara incident in 2010.
