Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz has ordered work to advance the designation of the Givat Asaf Junction on Highway 60 in Samaria as a danger spot.
The order came following a meeting on Sunday in which figures were presented that indicated the number of accidents at the intersection indicated the need to prioritize budgeting for it in 2017. An inter-office committee will meet on the matter in a few weeks.
