State Comptroller Yoseph Shapiro announced, Monday evening, that his office has begun a preliminary examination of complaints about the government's preparedness for the recent wave of fires, according to the Walla! website.
The retired justice said he has instructed the Ombudsman to expedite the handling of complaints received so far by citizens who were injured or suffered property damage.
