Four out of five members of an Interior Ministry investigative committee on the future of Bat Yam recommended, Sunday, that the southern Tel Aviv suburb merge with Tel Aviv by 2018 to save Bat Yam from its financial deficit. The committee's recommendations will be forwarded to Interior Minister Aryeh Der'i after reactions are received from the cities' mayors.
