MK Betzalel Smotrich (Jewish Home) addressed today the report that the PM refused to let Smotrich into a meeting about Amona due to comments that Smotrich made to Ha'aretz newspaper about the PM.

In an interview with army radio, Smotrich said: "Don't make a big deal out of it. The PM didn't like my speculations in Ha'aretz. I think whoever reads the interview will see that I answered the the questions honestly - I didn't blur disagreements."

"I have a lot of respect for the PM, but we have ideological disagreements."

He added: "I'm too young to [be making extreme statements], so if the PM was offended by that specific statement, I am ready to apologize for it."
