Mataam Lemehadrin Ltd. announced, Monday that the Listeria monocytogenes bacteria showed up in the 250-gram roast beef of its Mataam Hafetz Haim delicatessen line during a routine Health Ministry inspection.
The bacteria was discovered in meat that was processed on November 2nd. The company is working to pull the product from store shelves. It called on consumers who bought the product with that date to return it to the point of purchase for credit.
