The Shahar and Kedem battalions of the Homefront Command's Rescue and Training Division and reservists were sent to Haifa to help the public deal with the fires raging in the area.
The Homefront Command is also helping the police and firefighters with their efforts. Reservists have not been called up via Command #8 (Tzav Shmonah) emergency callup practice.
