The Israel Electric Company declared an alert, Thursday morning, because of the potential of fires around the country to damage substations and high-tension lines.
Since the start of the wave of fires, the company's firefighting units have been at endangered substations and have helped other firefighting units. IEC workers have been on the scene to cut off the power supply for safety reasons.
