The fire burning out of control in the Zichron Yaakov area is causing heavy smoke over residential areas.
The Environmental Protection Ministry advises the people who were not evacuated to stay in their homes, close vents and other places where outside air can enter and listen to instructions from rescue and other emergency-service personnel.
