A strike by Lufthansa pilots in Germany has cancelled four flights to Israel between Tuesday and Wednesday evening, including Flights 680 and 681 from Munich, which were scheduled to take off at 21:50 both evenings, according to Maariv. Also cancelled were Flight 691, which was scheduled to leave Frankfurt at 5:20 Wednesday morning and a Frankfurt flight that was scheduled for 14:05 on Wednesday.

Nearly 900 flights were cancelled to destinations worldwide. The strike does not involve crews outside Germany, so flights from Israel are not affected. The airline made it clear that passengers could cancel their tickets or transfer to other airlines in the group with no additional charge.
