The Knesset Labor, Welfare and Health Committee cleared for first reading, Monday, a bill by Committee Chairman Elie Alalouf to give exemptions in licensing examinations for pharmacists who learned abroad.
Under the measure, pharmacists with at least two years experience abroad will only be required to do part of the Israeli test and work under supervision for a year before receiving their Israeli license. Currently they are required to do the entire test.
