Member of Knesset Eitan Cabel and Labor Party activist, attorney Eldad Yaniv petitioned the Supreme Court, Thursday, to require Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu - in his role of Communications Minister - to allow the new public broadcasting corporation to start operations on January 1st.
The petitioners claim the prime minister is trying to take over the corporation and change it from a professional body to one that serves his personal political agenda.
