Abdullah Al-Abbadi, deputy director of the Jordanian Ministry of Religious Affairs in charge of Jerusalem, declared as "null and void", Tuesday, a bill endorsed this week by Israel's Ministerial Committee on Legislation to lower the volume of the adhan call to prayer at mosques.
Al-Abbadi said Jerusalem is under occupation and "According to international law, the occupier is not authorized to make any changes in the areas it occupies."
