The official value of the shekel rose an average of .236 percent, Monday, against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.

The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.844, down .208 percent, while the Euro declined .178 percent to 4.1404 shekels. The pound sterling fell 1.057 percent to NIS 4.7729 following the leaking of a memo to the Times of London, which tells of high-level cabinet splits regarding implementation of the exit from the European Union approved by the voters.
