El Al flight LY 027, which was scheduled to leave Tel Aviv for Newark, New Jersey at 00:30 Monday morning, was cancelled Sunday evening, due to a dispute between the company and its pilots.
The airline said the pilots refuse to fly both directions and the company will issue refunds to the passengers. The pilots said there were enough employees available to carry out the flight, adding they had warned about the harm that would be caused to the customers.
