Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said, Sunday afternoon, that he was afraid former prime minister Yitzhak Rabin will only be remembered because he was assassinated.
Speaking at the official memorial service for Rabin, Netanyahu pointed to Rabin's military accomplishments and wish for a strong and prosperous Israel. He noted that Rabin was worried about the military threats that Israel faces now, if not a witness to the current scope, focusing on Iran. He also noted the recent dedication of the third pre-military academy in Rabin's memory and said it was important for future generations to recognize and cherish Rabin.
