The police have questioned a prison guard under warning of possible prosecution on suspicion of receiving bribes, conspiracy, breach of trust and receiving things by fraudulent means.
The guard is suspected of being bribed by inmates or their relatives on a number of occasions in exchange for favors to prisoners. He is also suspected of having contacts with former prisoners, in violation of the law. Following Wednesday's interrogation, he was release to five days of restrictive house arrest.
