Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal has reacted to the election of Donald Trump as United Stated president by saying, "There won't be stability in the area without the Palestinians getting their rights. You should learn that Israel has become a burden to you."
During a speech in Istanbul, Mashaal continued to call for "defense" of Jerusalem through jihad holy war and intifada uprising. He said Jerusalem was the key to war and peace.
