The official value of the shekel declined an average of .051 percent, Tuesday, against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.814, up .052 percent, while the Euro declined .092 percent to 4.2126 shekels and the pound sterling was set at 4.733 shekels, up .025 percent.
The Egyptian pound continued to fall, losing 6.239 percent in value.
