The constitutional court of the PA ruled last night that PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has the authority to remove parliamentary immunity of parliament members, even if the parliament itself doesn't convene.
This makes way for Abbas to remove the immunity of his political rival Muhmad Dahlan, a parliamentarian, as a preliminary step in removing him from office.
