Member of Knesset Bezalel Smotrich (Jewish Home) asked Chairman Moshe Gafni of the Knesset Finance Committee, Tuesday, to remove Amnesty International from discussion of associations seeking to be recognized for deductions under Paragraph 46 of the tax code.
Smotrich based his request on Amnesty's criticism of Israel, accusation of war crimes against the Jewish state and calls for draft resistance.
