The Ramle Magistrates Court sentenced singer Moshe Peretz on Tuesday to four months of public service on charges of evading a million shekels in income tax and NIS 140,000 in value-added tax.
Peretz confessed in March. He was convicted under a plea bargain with the Tax Authority. Prosecutors had sought eight-to-24 months of prison.
