Foreign Ministry Director-General Dr. Dore Gold, who resigned on Thursday, explained on Friday in an interview with Kol Yisrael radio the factors that led to his decision.
"I do not feel like there was an attempt to take responsibilities at the Foreign Ministry away from me. I left because I have a duty to my family - I am both a father and a grandfather," he said.
