A 60-year-old woman was critically injured from smoke inhalation on Monday night, when a fire broke out in an apartment on the first floor of a residential building in Jerusalem.
The woman was rescued from the apartment by fire crews and evacuated by Magen David Adom paramedics to the Shaare Zedek Hospital in the city.
