Police arrested Meir Ettinger after he refused to be detained while the police searched his house.
Ettinger was set to be interrogated after being suspected of throwing rocks.
A grandson of Rabbi Meir Kahane, Ettinger is thought to be the first on the ISA's "wanted" list.
Last June he was released after ten months of imprisonment for crimes which are not clear.
