Turkey's Defense Ministry announced, Thursday, that it has dismissed 540 soldiers from its naval and air forces command over suspected links with cleric Fethullah Gulen and his network, accused by Ankara of orchestrating a failed coup in July, according to Reuters.
More than 240 people were killed in the attempt to overthrow President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
