Feridun Sinirlioğlu, Undersecretary to Turkey's Foreign Ministry, will represent his country at Friday's funeral for Shim'on Peres.
Sinirlioğlu served as Turkey's ambassador to Israel and directed negotiations on the recently-signed reconciliation agreement between Israel and Turkey.
