The Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway will be closed to traffic on Friday, before and after the funeral of Shim'on Peres, in the interest of security for international dignitaries who are attending the funeral.
The highway will be closed from 7:30-9:00 am and 12:30-2:00 pm. The closures are expected to generate congestion on Routes 6, 38, 431 and 443. Police are advising to avoid these routes until traffic returns to normal.
