Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has asked former president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad not to run for re-election in May, according to a Monday report by the Islamic Republic News Agency.
The request could completely destroy Ahmadinejad's chances of returning to the political arena.
