The Yafo (Jaffa) District Court said, Monday, it will rule on Thursday in the appeal of the state against the early release of Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto from the remainder of his prison term on a bribery conviction. The announcement came following a hearing on the appeal.
Rabbi Pinto was sentenced to a year in prison. He will remain behind bars pending the decision.
