Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) spoke on Sunday night against the effort to delegitimize Israel and defined it as anti-Semitism.
"Those who call for boycotts of Israel are practicing whether they know it or not - a modern form of anti-Semitism. They ultimately don't believe there should be a Jewish state. We should call BDS what it is - anti-Semitism and not just anti-Israel. I applaud the governors of new York and California for the anti-BDS legislation," he said.
