A pre-Yom Kippur concert featuring a lineup of only male artists at Tel Aviv's Rabin Square was cancelled on Sunday, following complaints about discrimination against women.
The woman who handles public relations for the concert said, "Because of the desire to be responsive to the public and strengthen the unity of the people... we invite the people of Israel arrive in great numbers to pray and sing together the Selichot set forth for this day and together wish a good year in love to each and every one [male and female] of the people of Israel."
