The Unilever corporation confirmed on Friday that Salmonella bacteria have been found in a batch of "Kariyot Nougat," the popular chocolate breakfast cereal manufactured by Telma.

The company said in a statement that the infected batch has been quarantined, and that no infected cereal has been sent out for sale. This is the latest in a series of Salmonella infections in food products in Israel, which has included cereals and tehina.
