The father of Ahmad Rahami, suspected perpetrator of a string of bomb attacks on the East Coast last Saturday, had warned the FBI two years ago that his son was a terrorist, according to the New York Times.
He apparently did so after Rahami was indicted for stabbing his brother.
The FBI opened an investigation, but did not put Rahami on its list of terror suspects within the US.
