Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has cancelled a meeting that was supposed to take place at the Foreign Ministry on Monday. The meeting had been seen as an opportunity ease tensions against the backdrop of staff protests over cuts in staff, the authority of staff members and a decline in working conditions.
Workers threatened to come to the meeting to protest what they called the "wiping out" of the ministry.
