Labor and Welfare Minister Haim Katz said, Monday morning, that at least 300 new daycare centers will open before the next school year, with places for 25,000 children.
Speaking at a hearing of the Knesset Labor, Welfare and Health Committee, Katz promised to try and solve the shortage of caregivers in family-style daycare centers and social conditions for them.
