The Southern District Prosecutor's Office told the chief executive officer of the Asot defense factory in Ashkelon and the former head of its workers' committee, Monday, that the office is considering putting them on trial in connection with the theft of NIS 1.5 million (about $398,000) in metal from the factory, subject to a hearing.
Two owners of private companies could be similarly tried.
