Aryeh Bar Natan, one of the founders of Mitzpeh Yericho, was laid to rest, Sunday afternoon in Jerusalem's Har Hamenuchot cemetery. He had asked to be buried by the grave of his son Haim in the Mount Herzl military cemetery, where Aryeh took his life on Friday.

Haim was killed in a 1992 military operation in Lebanon. Aryeh was eulogized as having withstood a test greater than that of patriarch Abraham by virtue of having sacrificed his only son for the Land of Israel and people of Israel which he loved so much. Haim had taken care of his father, who suffered from cancer in his later years.
