The Agriculture Ministry announced, Sunday, that a shortage of fresh chicken is expected between September 12th and the 16th in retail chains, according to Maariv. The shortage is expected due to Muslim slaughterhouse employees taking off for the Eid Al-Adha sacrifice festival. The slaughterhouses are expected to return to full capacity by the 18th.
There is a surplus of frozen chicken.
