At least 10 more Turkish tanks crossed the border into Syria on Thursday, a day after pro-Ankara Syrian opposition fighters ousted jihadists from the town of Jarabulus close to the frontier, according to a photographer for Agence France Presse.
The tanks were set to join a contingent of around a dozen Turkish tanks which had crossed the day earlier for Turkey's operation "Euphrates Shield", aimed at ridding the area of Islamic State extremists and Kurdish militia.
