The Ministry of Environmental Protection is warning people to be alert and notify authorities if they encounter an unidentified powder.
Following reports in recent days of such a powder in Mevasseret Tzion, west of Jerusalem, the ministry collected samples from a number of places. Results of laboratory tests are expected to be announced in a few days.
