Egyptian President Abdel-Fatah As-Sisi said, Sunday, that Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his willingness to mediate in direct negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
As-Sisi told Egyptian newspaper editors, "Putin told me that he is willing to accept PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for direct talks in Moscow." He added, "The need for the importance of peace is increasing on the Israeli side."
