Chief executive officer Uri Sirkis of Yisrair says the airline will bring its call center to Sderot, according to a Sunday report by Israel Defense Forces Radio. At first it will employ 40 people and double that if dictated by the volume of business.
Sirkis said the closeness of Sapir College will provide the recruiting of quality staff. The goal is to strengthen the local economy while reducing expenses, compared to prices in the center of the country. It's estimated that the move will be made during the first quarter of 2017.
