The Likud party on Friday sharply attacked former Prime Minister Ehud Barak, who hinted earlier this week that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu had caused serious damage to Israel’s security.
“Barak is the most incompetent Prime Minister in Israel's history, in whose name are registered, among others, the Second Intifada, the abandoning of Medhat Youssef, the lynching in Ramallah and the hasty withdrawal from Lebanon which led to the takeover of Iran and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon and to the firing of thousands of missiles towards Israeli cities,” said the Likud in a statement.
