Arab League states, led by Egypt, intend to avoid pushing a resolution for supervision of Israeli nuclear facilities at the general conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency in September, according to a Thursday-morning report by Haaretz.

Citing contents of a classified telegram sent by the Arms Control Office in Jerusalem to a number of Israeli embassies, Haaretz says the reason for the change is the rapprochement between Egypt and Israel. Israel is afraid of a last-minute change of heart.
