The Israel Police have reached a settlement with some families of terrorists who carried out attacks in Jerusalem, under which the bodies of the terrorists will be given to the families for burial on condition that the funerals take place at night with less than 25 participants and no calls of incitement, according to a Monday-evening report by nrg.
The families will have to put up a bond of 20,000 shekels. The settlement follows a petition to the Supreme Court after Israel announced it was not going to return terrorist bodies. The first transfer will involve the body of a terrorist who shot at a bus in the northern-Jerusalem neighborhood of Ramot.
