A resident of the western Galilee town of Abu-Snan was arrested, Wednesday evening by Border Guards in the northern Arab city of Umm El-Fahm on suspicion he ran over a police officer. The officer was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
The suspect was caught driving without a license and drugs were found in his vehicle. A hearing for extension of his remand is scheduled, Thursday morning, at the Akko (Acre) Magistrates Court.
